Our world is full of weird and interesting places, and curious people travel to see these places. But there are some places in this world that are beautiful as well as extremely dangerous. Nevertheless, a large number of tourists visit these places which are a danger to visit. These places are located in different parts of the world and so far many have lost their lives or have been severely injured.
Mont Blanc, France
The peak of these mountains in France is 5,000 meters and the wind speed here is 95 km per hour. This is a dangerous place for those who hike there. But despite all this, adventure enthusiasts must visit here. An average of 20,000 tourists visit this place every year, but many of them are injured while many lose their lives. About 30 to 70 people die each year at this place. Most people are people who do not have hiking experience but still try to climb these peaks.
Grand Canyon, Arizona
More than 4.5 million tourists visit Arizona’s National Park each year, but an average of 12 people lose their lives. The causes of these deaths vary, such as heat exhaustion and medical conditions, suicide or sliding down from a higher place, etc.
The sea is located in Tahiti and its waves are considered one of the deadliest waves in the world. The waves are 3 to 7 meters high. Which is why it is considered one of the most dangerous surfing destinations. The waves of this sea are unique because of the coral reefs in the sea. They are found at a depth of about 20 inches above the surface of the water.
Many have lost their lives in this sea till now.
Kokoda Track, Papa New Guinea
This forest located in Papa New Guinea was the most famous place during World War II. The Australians once again returned to this place to pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrifice their lives here. It was 60 miles long. The track has so far taken the lives of 6 Australians who were evacuating while 50 people were rescued with the help of aerial rescue. The route comprises wild terrain, rivers, and hills.
New Smyrna Beach, Florida
From 2004 to 2014 worldwide, shark fish carried out 701 attacks, out of which 219 were on Florida’s coast. That’s why this coastline is considered one of the most dangerous beaches in the world. But fortunately, so far No attack proved fatal, though several people were injured. Last year, two people, aged 15 and 29, were hit by sharks in different incidents on the coast.
Yosemite National Park’s Half Dome, California
It is only the brave man’s job to climb the last 120 meters of the rock in Yosemite National Park, California. The last 120 meters of the rock is almost vertical. That is important for those who climb They use a metal cable to reach the heights. Many people have lost their lives in trying to climb it. About 60 people have lost their lives so far due to the slippery rock. This rock is called ‘Death Slabs’.
Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland
Located in County Clare, Ireland, the cliffs are the most popular tourist destination and attracted over 1 million tourists in 2006. The magnificent cliffs are 120 meters high and are home to 20,000 species of 20 types. However, the cliffs have become the most dangerous tourist destination due to the absence of a protective fence. And many people have lost their lives so far. According to the administration here several times people take risks to stood the rock and others who see them do the same. The risk is enormous.
Skellig Michael, Ireland
This magnificent tourist destination is also located in Ireland and in 1996 UNESCO added this place to the World Heritage Site. Parts of this landmark belong to the 6th and 8th centuries. Especially the 600 stairs shown in the picture below thousands of years old. Though these stairs are extremely dangerous. These oldest steps lead to slippery, while people reach the height through them and want to have a beautiful view of the surroundings. Even falling in 2009, two people lost their lives, but the authorities concerned have not yet established any security guard here to reaching a height jacky.
Hawaii Volcano Helicopter tours
There are three incredible active volcanic mountains in Hawaii that tourists use helicopters to take a closer look at. However, the view of these volcanoes is proving to be dangerous for tourists as the exit lava occasionally elevated. Sometimes 30 people were killed in 1995, while 45 from 1992 to 2002 were seriously injured due to a sudden rise in lava height.
Colorado River System
The Colorado River system is 1,450 miles long and extends to 7 US and 2 Mexican states. However, the system is also causing people’s deaths and in 2014, 15 people lost their lives. The reason is the elevation of the water level in the river which is due to the melting of the surrounding snow. In 2007, there were 275 accidents in which 176 people were injured while 12 people lost their lives.
‘Death Road,’ La Paz, Bolivia
It is the world’s deadliest road in Bolivia and is known as the “Road to Death”. Hundreds of people die every year here. A 43-mile-long road is 2,000 feet high. Located on the side of the road and there is no safety fence on the side of the road that can prevent pedestrians or motorcyclists from falling down.
